The playoffs are wide open this year in both conferences. This week, Washington heads right up the road to Baltimore with obvious playoff implications. The Redskins are trying to fight their way into the playoffs, while the Ravens are fighting to win their division.

NBC's Sunday Night Football is heating up down the homestretch. Every Sunday night, the best NFL game of the week is preceded by "Football Night in America" and followed by News First 5/30 and Air Force Football with Coach Troy Calhoun.
The "Flex Schedule" solves the problem of locking-in the schedule before the season starts and then broadcasting games late in the season with no real meaning or playoff implications. The Flex match-ups are determined within 10 days of the broadcast, so that the week's best game is always featured on football's biggest night!
