Your Local News & Weather 24/7
In 2004, KOAA-TV began providing Southern Colorado's first 24-hour local weather channel, Weather First Now. In early 2007, this cable channel evolved to become News First Now with the addition of three daily newscasts and more news coverage.
Currently available on Comcast channel 9 in Colorado Springs and Comcast digital channel 247 in Pueblo, News First Now provides local news and weather 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
This summer, News First Now will be your place to watch Colorado Rockies baseball every weekend! The first 20 games on our schedule are on Sunday afternoons; the final 4 games on our schedule are on Saturday nights. Click here to learn more.
News First Now also delivers live, local newscasts at 4pm, Monday through Friday, and at 9pm, seven nights per week. These newscasts are produced by News First 5/30, Southern Colorado's News Leader. Meteorologist Mike Madson, who has more than two decades of local forecasting experience, provides weather coverage. Laura Rojas is the news anchor on these shows.
Can't watch News First at 6pm? Catch it at 7pm on News First Now. Monday through Friday, the 6pm newscast from KOAA-TV can be seen on News First Now. On the weekends, the 5:30pm newscast is replayed on News First Now.
Outside of the newscasts, a programmed cycle delivers the following information every ten minutes:

Live traffic cameras
State and national weather forecast
Ski report
Neighborhood now weather
Flight information from COS
News updates are provided at the bottom of every hour (at 9:58am, 10:58am, 11:58am, etc.).
