Watering restrictions eased in Security

Give yourself a pat-on-the-back Security. Even though repairs are still being made to a broken water pipe, residents have done such a good job at conserving water that the town's water tanks are full. The go-ahead has been given to resume outdoor watering.
The restriction was put into place on Tuesday when a pipeline that carries 60-percent of the town's water supply busted. Roy Heald of the Security Water District said that a pump will be installed on Friday. Colorado Springs Utilities has offered to help Security with a pump if a new one from the manufacturer is not available.
