A glider from the U.S. Air Force Academy made a safe landing at Kissing Camels Golf Course Wednesday afternoon. The cadet piloting the glider, senior Kurt Cloutier, was not injured.

Cloutier told investigators on the scene that the glider hit a downdraft, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing. A nearby glider called-in the emergency landing.
