Detectives say a 47-year old man was killed at his home overnight in Pueblo. Officers say three suspects broke into the victim's home and demanded money, before one of the suspects stabbed him.

The incident happened around 3:30 Tuesday morning at 2020 1/2 E. 8th St.

The victim has been identified as Raymond Buddy DeHerrera of Pueblo. DeHerrera was rushed to Parkview Medical Center, but later died from his injuries.

Police say a friend of DeHerrera's was at his home when the stabbing happened. Investigators say she told them she saw two men and a woman break into DeHerrera's home and demand money from him. She says one of the suspects then stabbed DeHerrera.

Officers have identified one of the suspects as Pete Anthony Archuleta, 22. Archuleta is wanted for first degree murder and numerous other warrants according to police.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP(7867).
