Fireworks of any kind are illegal in the city limits of Colorado Springs. If you ignore that law, you could be fined up to $500 and spend 90 days in jail. Fire stations throughout the Springs have collection bins for fireworks - no questions asked. In El Paso County, state legal fireworks are allowed.
In Pueblo, fireworks are allowed both in the city and county on the 4th only.
In Fremont County, a fire ban prohibits fireworks. However, fireworks will be allowed in Canon City on the 4th only.
No fireworks of any kind are allowed in Teller County, including the city of Woodland Park.
