Scientists say that the snowcaps of Venezuela's tallest mountain could disappear within five years.
Mount Bolivar stands at over 16,300 feet and is famous for having snow year-round. Experts say the mountain's snow line is receding and the mountain is part of a much larger problem that requires further investigation.
Tropical glaciers across the entire Andean mountain range are melting and officials say that it could destroy the region's fresh water reserves, the world's largest after the north and south poles.
