Americans flocking to movie theaters

A little robot is raking in big bucks. WALL-E, the computer animated tale of a lonely robot, opened at number one at the box office this weekend.. It took in more than $62 million.
WALL-E is the ninth straight hit for Pixar, including the Toy Story movies. Angelina Jolie's R-rated thriller Wanted opened in second. Get Smart landed in third, followed by Kung Fu Panda and The Incredible Hulk.
The top 12 movies took in over $179 million, up 22 percent from the same weekend last year.
