Kroger stores across Texas are recalling some of its line of eggs after finding mold inside the shell. Lynn Eddleman had a severe reaction when she cracked open one of her Kroger-brand large, brown eggs and found signs of black mold inside.
In fact nearly every single egg out of the two dozen Eddleman purchased from a Kroger in Rockwall contained signs of the mold. The eggs Eddleman purchased have an expiration date of July 23.
Eddleman believes she may have eaten some of the eggs and said that she hasn't felt well lately. Kroger has since instituted a statewide recall of all of the Kroger brand large brown eggs with sell by dates of July 27 or earlier.
Kroger said customers who bought the brown eggs can get a full refund or can trade them for replacement eggs.
